Quick Starter Guide for Wiki

  • To edit a page, click the edit button at the top of the page.
    • You can do the same with the edit button at the bottom of the page.
    • You can use Wiki grammar and syntax for page editing.
    • It depends on how the page is set up, but there are pages that don't allow users to edit except for those with the authorization.
  • To display/save a page to PDF, click PDF button at the top of the page.
    • You can do the same with the get PDF button at the bottom of the page.
  • To see a page's edit history, click the history button at the bottom of the page.
    • All incremental changes on a Wiki page are saved, so you can browse all the edit history.
    • You can also go back to the previous version.
  • To delete a page, click the delete button at the bottom of the page.
  • To set a page to allow only specific users to edit/browse, click the config button at the bottom of the page.
    • For each category of users, like project admin, editor, project member, login user, all anonymous, you can set up the range of authorization to all operation/editing(creating)/view only/none.
  • To create a new page, (just like a general Wiki) enter the URL of the Wiki page you want to create in your browser. The text Do you want to create it because there is no page? and the button will be displayed. You can press the button and edit the page and save it, the page will be created at that URL.
    • For example If you enter the URL as https://osdn.net/projects/example/wiki/aaa, 'aaa' page will be create on the wiki of the example project. Please specify the page name after /projects/PROJEFCT_NAME/wiki/ (otherwise an error will occur)
    • If you create a link for a Wiki page that does not exist on an existing Wiki page and click it, the page for creating a new page will be displayed. This may be more convenient than entering the URL directly.
