Afghan Hound Quote of the Day Daemon uses
both TCP and UDP port 17 to return a random
quote from fortune(6) style quote files. It has
performance benefits over other programs which
use fortune(6) to source their quotes. The server
also includes the ability to limit the number of client
connections per second. Client and benchmarking
programs are included in the package.

Parmi les nouveaux ajouts autoconf / automake soutien, basé sur IP contrôle d'accès, des paramètres supplémentaires à leurs clients (de la fortune (6)), le code de débogage supplémentaires, et un strFile (1) le remplacement en Perl. Propreté Code-ups ont été faites en plusieurs endroits, et de nombreux bugs stupides ont été fixés.
New additions include autoconf/automake support, IP-based access control, extra flags to clients (from fortune(6)), extra debugging code, and a strfile(1) replacement in Perl. Code clean-ups were made in several places, and lots of silly bugs were fixed.
