L'API ActionScript3 a été améliorée. Nouveau ActionScript3 BigInteger / implémentations BigDecimal ont été ajoutés avec des mécanismes de sérialisation spécifique entre Flex et Java. Un cadre de la validation ActionScript3 basée sur la JSR-303 ("Bean Validation") la spécification a été ajouté. Plusieurs bugs ont été corrigés depuis la publication 2.2.0.beta1.

The ActionScript3 API was improved. New ActionScript3 BigInteger/BigDecimal implementations were added with specific serialization mechanisms between Flex and Java. An ActionScript3 validation framework based on the JSR-303 ("Bean Validation") specification was added. Several bugs have been fixed since the 2.2.0.beta1 release.
