Description du projet

GitFS is a fuse- and git-based remote filesystem with local cache for disconnected operation. It does periodic commits and pushes/pulls to keep a local shadow file system in sync with a remote repository. The filesystem should continue to work when you are disconnected. Merging after disconnected updates from multiple locations is left to git.

Cette version fonctionne au moins minimalement sur Linux et Mac OS X.

Il a été testé sur le bras de Gentoo, RedHat X86_64 et OS X.

(« Testé » signifie au moins une exécution sans effets catastrophiques).


Il est lent et probablement encore très buggy.

Vous probablement besoin d'utiliser le premier plan -o pour quoi que ce soit pour travailler.

It's slow and likely still very buggy.

You likely need to use -o foreground for anything to work.

La suite du programme minimal pour rendre cela un peu utilisable fonctionne maintenant au moins un ou deux cas sur Mac OS X.

Développement devrait passer à Linux sous peu.

Ce logiciel n'est pas recommandé pour toute personne qui n'est pas Python piratage git-savvy et confortable.

Pour ce faire quoi que ce soit à proximité d'utile requiert probablement un peu des deux.

C'est sans aucun doute alpha, mais peut être maintenant utilisable pour une poignée de gens.

The minimal program suite to make this somewhat usable now works in at least one or two cases
on Mac OS X.

Development should switch to Linux shortly.

This software is not recommended for anyone who is not git-savvy and comfortable hacking Python.

To make this do anything close to useful probably requires a bit of both.

It is definitely alpha,
but might be usable now for a handful of people.
