Description du projet

GnuPG (the GNU Privacy Guard or GPG) is GNU's tool for secure communication and data storage. It can be used to encrypt data and to create digital signatures. It includes an advanced key management facility and is compliant with the proposed OpenPGP Internet standard as described in RFC2440. As such, it is meant to be compatible with PGP from NAI, Inc. Because it does not use any patented algorithms, it can be used without any restrictions.

Correction d'une corruption de la base de données publique porte-clé lors de l'importation des clés publiques manipulés. Ce problème a été signalé comme CVE-2012-6085. L'algorithme de chiffrement par vieille idée est apparue. Petites modifications ont été apportées pour améliorer la compatibilité avec les futures fonctionnalités OpenPGP et GnuPG. Corrections mineures ont été apportées.

A corruption of the public keyring database on import of manipulated public keys was fixed. This issue was reported as CVE-2012-6085. Support for the old cipher algorithm IDEA was added. Small changes were made to increase compatibility with future OpenPGP and GnuPG features. Minor bugfixes were made.
