Gnutmeg is a peer-to-peer distributed file sharing system not unlike Gnutella. It is similar to Napster, but there is no central server. Search requests are forwarded between peers. The reference implementation is in Java 1.1 and has a simple command line interface, and it uses regular expressions for searching.
