Muine is an innovative music player. It has a simple interface designed to allow the user to easily construct a playlist from albums and/or single songs. Its goal is to be simply a music player, not to become a robust music management application.

old Amazon API is used, but now with the Amazon
devtag found in GConf. A plugin API was added for
adding, removing, and syncing files. An inotify

Various bugfixes were made. Various updates were
done to the documentation and autotools.

The GStreamer backend has been improved and is now the default. The tray icon has been removed from the main build and can be installed separately as a plugin. Various additions to the plugin API have been made, various bugs have been fixed, and translations have been updated.
