phpPackage is a simple Perl script used to automatically build distribution packages for PHP software. phpPackage automatically builds tar.gz, tar.bz2, and zip packages for files with .php, .php3, and .php4 extensions from a project directory containing .php files.

Cette version apporte un soutien pour une version "tag" dans les fichiers source qui est automatiquement remplacé par l'argument de version de la ligne de commande. La création d'archives bzip2 est maintenant supporté sur les systèmes dont les versions de tar ne supporte pas l'option-j pavillon.

This release adds support for a "version" tag in
source files which is automatically replaced by
the VERSION argument from the command line. The
creation of bzip2 archives is now supported on
systems whose versions of tar don't support the -j
flag.
