Description du projet

Schnolgo is a musical composition system. It has a number of unique features, including a way of handling polyrhythmic timing which provides a flexibility one cannot easily achieve with traditional sequencing programs or sound programming environments. Currently, Schnolgo is in the form of a Python package, and its main output format for compositions written in it is MIDI.

Cette version inclut de nombreuses corrections de bugs divers et quelques modifications, qui devrait considérablement accélérer l'affichage de grandes compositions complexes. The Hit / Note système d'équarrissage a été sensiblement modifié pour tenir compte de "hits de procédure». Les "accords" module a été renommé en "noteset" et dispose de quelques fonctionnalités de base. Un certain nombre de méthodes simples ont été ajoutés à la classe thématique pour faciliter la composition quelque peu. Quelques tutoriels ont été écrits.

This release includes a lot of miscellaneous
bugfixes and a few changes that should
significantly speed up the rendering of large
complex compositions. The Hit/Note rendering
system has been significantly changed in order to
accommodate "procedural hits". The "chords" module
has been renamed to "noteset" and has some basic
functionality. A number of simple methods have
been added to the Theme class to ease composition
somewhat. Some tutorials were written.
