Description du projet

The Project Gutenberg Markup Tool is a command-line
tool with a GUI front-end that automatically creates an HTML or LaTeX file from a Project Gutenberg etext. The aim is to provide publication-quality formatted etexts,
without manual markup, in conjunction with post-processing by other pre-existing tools. It is tailored specifically to Project Gutenberg etexts, but can in some cases be used for other plain-ASCII etexts.

Cette source seule sortie est d'un intérêt unique développeur, les utilisateurs ne seront pas en bénéficier. La mise en forme illisible le code source dans l'instantané 20011201 a été corrigé. Cet instantané passe aussi le test de régression construit dans le makefile. La restriction que le fichier de configuration doit être dans le répertoire de travail a été supprimée. Le site Web a désormais une vaste bug / list question.

This source-only release is of developer interest only; users won't benefit
from it. The unreadable formatting of the source code in the 20011201 snapshot
has been fixed. This snapshot also passes the regression test built into the
makefile. The restriction that the configuration file has to be in the working
directory has been removed. The Web site now has an extensive bug/issue list.

Un soutien a été ajouté pour un tout-CAPS style italique, automatique italiques des phrases étrangers, et la restauration des signes diacritiques. Un support préliminaire pour une sortie LaTeX (plutôt que le HTML par défaut) a été ajoutée. Il ya eu également quelques corrections de bugs et de nettoyage divers.

Support has been added for an ALL-CAPS italicizing style, automatic italicizing of foreign phrases, and restoration of diacritical marks. Preliminary support for LaTeX output (rather than the default HTML) has been added. There have also been some bugfixes and various cleanups.

"Guillemets" et des em-tirets apparaissent dans la sortie HTML, et la suppression de l'en-tête du Projet Gutenberg par défaut (pour se conformer aux exigences PG: elle peut être restaurée avec un commutateur de ligne de commande).

"Smart quotes" and em-dashes appear in the HTML output, and removal of the Project Gutenberg header by default (to conform to PG requirements; it can be restored with a command-line switch).
