JamochaMUD offers Unicode, plug-in, and multi-language support (8 different languages) to allow a more enjoyable MUCKing/MUDding experience. It features command history, synchronized window controls, experimental SOCKS 5 support, and greatly improved ANSI colour support. It plays nice on Unix systems, supports a wide range of MU*s, and also includes emulation of some TinyFugue editor controls. JamochaMUD includes classes that may be easily reused in other Java applications.

This release includes initial support for changing the codepage used for translation of output from MU* servers. This should have the potential of allowing support for "extended ASCII" in addition to other output languages. In addition to numerous smaller fixes, JamochaMUD code has been fixed so that it should work again with Java version 1.4; previous releases had used some Java 1.5-specific APIs.

Cette version corrige le problème de connexion automatique fichiers sauvegardés dans le mauvais endroit. This release fixes the issue of automatic log files being saved in the wrong location. User definitions have been extended so that they can now contain multiple commands. JamochaMUD will now identify itself to servers as being "JamochaMUD" instead of a generic video terminal. Additional internationalization has been added, with a partial Canadian French translation added.

This release of JamochaMUD fixes a major issue
with the use of the "Connect" button when creating
a new connection. JamochaMUD also now gives a more
user-friendly message when attempting to connect
to an SSL connection using a plain-text socket.
The /puppet command has been enhanced so that
output may be properly routed to separate windows.
Some additional on-screen help has been added for
setting and removing of variables and definitions.
