libmpq is a library for manipulating MPQ (MoPaQ)
archives, which are used by Blizzard in most of
their games (e.g., Diablo, Diablo 2, StarCraft,
WarCraft 3, and World of Warcraft). It can
extract, move, delete, and create archives.

Major feature enhancements
This release includes several major improvements. Full extraction support for protected Warcraft 3 maps was added. Full support for MPQ archive version 2 (used in World of Warcraft - The Burning Crusade) was added. Support for extracting BZIP2 compressed data was added. This release can handle files inside archives larger than 2 GB, and Python bindings were added.
