mrouted is an implementation of the DVMRP multicast routing protocol. It turns a UNIX workstation into a DVMRP multicast router with tunnel support, in order to cross non-multicast-aware routers.

This is the first official release after revival. It includes build fixes for GNU/Linux from Debian. The FreeBSD ports collection has major API cleanups. From the Buildroot system, there are further cleanups of old deprecated APIs. More compiler warnings have been added, and the problems uncovered by this fixed.
