prsync provides a solution for backups that is
easy to configure, simple to maintain, and based
on rsync. You can can specify how often to backup
(daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly) and how much
is needed from each of these periods. Backups from
a local computer to a remote computer, remote to
local, and local to local are possible. prsync
will also take care of the old backups.
