xlcleaner & xlcells are utilities for working with
Excel/spreadsheet tab-delimited export files.
xlcleaner cleans up anomalies often present in
Excel/spreadsheet tab-delimited export files. It
rounds numerics to reasonable precision, removes
trailing empty fields, and inserts a missing data
code for blank cells. xlcells extracts values
from a Excel/spreadsheet tab-delimited export file
using spreadsheet address notation, such as C12.
