X Python Newsreader (XPN) is a multi-platform newsreader with Unicode support. It has features like scoring/actions,
X-Face and Face decoding, muting of quoted text, newsrc import/export, find article and search in the body, spoiler char/rot13, random taglines, and configurable attribution lines.

Message-ID recognition was added. XPN now tries to
recognize message-IDs in the text and make them
clickable in order to open a search window. A
dialog window that informs you when XPN downloads
new articles in watched threads was added. Some
improvements were made in Global Search, so it is
possible to perform multiple searches. XPN now
checks if there are other instances running. This
behavior should prevent database break off. Some
bugs in header management were fixed. A bug that
caused crashes with multipart articles with email
attached was fixed.

Support pour les articles sortant / DRAF a été améliorée. Il est maintenant possible d'éditer des articles en attente. Le support SSL simple connexion a été ajoutée en plus d'appuyer l'article en plusieurs parties (mais sans aucun soutien pour les pièces jointes binaires). Une traduction en allemand a été ajoutée et quelques bugs avec les importateurs et exportateurs newsrc ont été fixés. Il y avait également d'autres corrections de bugs et de petites améliorations.

Support for outgoing/draf articles was improved. It is now possible to edit queued articles. Simple SSL connection support was added along with multipart article support (though with no support for binary attachments). A German translation was added and some bugs with importing and exporting newsrc were fixed. There were also other bugfixes and small enhancements.

added. Some improvements were made in the
scoring/action system. Now it's possible to
customize the sorting column. A bug in the
autowrap feature that created double lines in some
circumstances was fixed. The "View Raw Article" is
correctly stored now. Italian and French
translations are available.
