Hi, When non-GIN index is specified in the argument of pg_gin_pending_stats(), it returns completely wrong and invalid results. This is a bug. I'd like to change pg_gin_pending_stats() so that it checks whether the given index is a GIN index or not. Also probably it should check whether the given index is another session's temporary one or not. Thought? BTW, the very similar contrib function pgstatginindex() has these checks. Patch attached.
