Winc64 aims to be a modern, event-driven operating system for the SuperCPU-powered Commodore 64 as emulated in VICE. Winc64 will feature effortless high-speed disk access, custom color palettes, high-resolution proportional text, program state saves, and internet access using an interface similar to modern pc operating systems.
Winc64 is written in 100% 65816 assembly language using the excellent 64Tass assembler by Soci, also available on Sourceforge.
