WebシステムとshellサーバにRuby 1.8.1のインストールを希
望します。

Ruby 1.8.1は最新の安定版であり、現在システムにインス
トールされている1.6.7と比較して、大幅な添付ライブラリの
変更などがなされています。

以上、よろしくご検討ください。

同じく希望します．

Web サーバも shell サーバも Debian で運用されていれば，
deb http://deb.ruby-lang.org/debian woody main
を apt-line に追加すれば楽に Ruby 1.8 が入ります．

deb.ruby-lang.org を利用すれば簡単にはいるので，入れたいと
思います．ちなみに今後は backports.org のほうに移るみたい
ですね．

すみません、連絡の方遅くなりましたが、インストールされています。

/usr/bin/ruby は 1.6 のまま変更されていませんので、
/usr/bin/ruby1.8 をお使い下さい。
他に足らないライブラリなどありましたらまたリクエストを
お願いいたします。
