Ctrl+Fで検索テキストボックスを開いたとき、入力済みのテキストは選択状態になっていたほうが使いやすい。

検索パネルのsetVisible(true)を実行したときのテキストボックスのフォーカスをしている。それに続けて、テキストボックスに入力されていたら文字を選択状態にする。
