I am making the original Reed-Solomon encoder / decoder. RS (288,272) can correct up to 8 bytes of error created by GF (17 2) extension field that is an extension of GF (17) using prime number 17. Apparently, the code length of RS (255,239) of GF (2 8) is extended by 33 bytes. Compatible with RS (255,239) if used as a 33-byte short code. You don't normally think that the prime number 17 does not match binary numbers, but by not using the value 16 I would like to inform the world that a Reed-Solomon code that integrates into a binary number can be created even if you use the prime number 17.
我ながら、独創的なリードソロモン符号器復号器。 素数17を使ったGF(17)を拡大したGF(172)拡大体で作成した誤り8バイトまで訂正できるRS(288,272)。 見かけ上は、GF(28)のRS(255,239)の符号長を33バイト長くしたものになる。 33バイト短縮符号として使えばRS(255,239)とコンパチ。 素数17は、２進法にそぐわないと普通は思うが、値16を使わないことによって 2進数に融和するリードソロモン符号ができるということを世界に知らしめたい。
