BaseX is a light-weight, high-performance, and scalable XML database system and XPath/XQuery processor, including full support for the W3C Update and Full Text extensions. An interactive and user-friendly GUI frontend gives you great insight into large XML data instances. It is platform independent and works out of the box.

JSON : importation, requête et exporter les données JSON via XQuery, repos, ou sur la ligne de commande. Indexation incrémentale : mise à jour de l'index des attributs et du texte en temps réel. Statistiques de chemin d'accès : récupérer les valeurs distinctes des chemins de localisation en temps constant. Nouvelles fonctions de XQuery pour simplifier la base de données, texte intégral, index et l'accès de référentiel. Fonctions XQuery 3.0 : EQNames, espace de noms constructeurs, etc.. La ligne de commande API a été révisée : il peut traiter plusieurs entrées dans une course.
