cfgarch is a tool that should help system
administrators to build up a central configuration
file repository of their machines by using
subversion. The tool copies the files specified in
the configuration file (using scp), checks for
changes, and puts them into the subversion
repository. The intention of this project was to
implement a configuration archive which not only
stores configuration files of multiple machines in
a single location, but also provides functionality
to access previous versions of certain
configuration files.
