Description du projet

Comal-Linux is a Linux distribution derived from Slackware Linux. It is packaged as a live CD, and is intended for desktop users who want to use Slackware Linux without first installing it on their computers. Comal-Linux is built from "pure" Slackware Linux, making it as compatible with the original as possible, including application packages. By choosing lightweight desktop and application software, the distribution can be used on older computers. Comal-Linux is an unofficial Muslim edition of Slackware.

Cette version est basée sur Slackware 13.0, avec les scripts Linux Live 6.3.0. Il est construit sur le noyau Linux 2.6.27.27. Python et Perl ont été ajoutés en tant que dépendances de la bibliothèque. Opera 10.01, WinFF 1.0.0, GCompris 7.4, Tuxpaint 0.9.15b, SuperTux 0.1.3, d4x 2.5.7.1 et 1.0.3 chmsee ont été ajoutés. Pcmanfm gtkam 0.5.1 et 0.1.14 ont été mis à jour. XDM, zekr, GIMP, Graveman, et Firefox ont été remplacées par de nouvelles applications. WDM 1.26, Noor 1.2.1, mtpaint 3.31, et simpleburn 1.2.3 ont été ajoutés. Osmo, Monica, liferea, xine, gkrellm, et NCDU ont été supprimés.
