db4o is an object database for Java and all .NET environments. Its features include ACID transactions, automatic class schema recognition, query-by-example, a S.O.D.A. object querying API, native queries, LINQ support on .NET, callback methods, memory files, cascade-on-delete, multi-threaded access, and Java Webstart and servlet support.

Ce développement comprend la construction d'un client nouveau Embedded / Server mécanisme qui vient avec les mêmes performances et la consommation de ressources caractéristiques que le mode mono-utilisateur local. Cette version a subi des tests très lourde pression sur les machines multi-cœurs, avec un grand nombre de clients. Le code de base a été ramifiée, et la branche 6.4 sera maintenu afin de devenir la «production» et la «qualité stable '.

This development build includes a new embedded Client/Server mechanism that comes with the same performance-and resource-consumption-characteristics as single user local mode. This build has undergone very heavy stress testing on multi-core machines and with large numbers of clients. The core code has been branched, and the 6.4 branch will be maintained to become 'production' and 'stable' quality.
