Description du projet

DrJava is an integrated Java development environment that supports interactive evaluation of expressions. It is under active development by the JavaPLT research group at Rice University, but it is also stable and is currently being used by students, teachers and other developers. A Java 2 v1.3-compliant Java virtual machine is required.

DrJava a été considérablement améliorée depuis l'annonce freshmeat dernier. Les principales améliorations comprennent un support intégré des tests unitaires à travers JUnit, un débogueur intégré qui complète le volet Interactions, une fenêtre Préférences pour configurer DrJava, et la documentation en ligne. Un grand nombre de corrections de bogues et de nouvelles fonctionnalités ont également été inclus.

DrJava has been significantly improved since the
last freshmeat announcement. The major
enhancements include integrated unit testing
support through JUnit, an integrated debugger
which complements the Interactions pane, a
Preferences window for configuring DrJava, and
online documentation. A large number of bugfixes
and new features have also been included.
