Description du projet

SPF is a new strategy for preventing junk mail.
The present SMTP standard for email allows anyone
to forge anyone else's email address. SPF verifies
that the Sender address of an email message
matches (according to some policy) the client IP
address that submitted it. libspf2 is a complete
and robust implementation of SPF which provides
support for many MTAs. Support for new MTAs is in
progress.

Un nouveau serveur / requête / réponse de l'API a été ajoutée. L'allocation a été simplifiée. Mises à jour ont été faites pour correspondre au projet de spécification RFC. Les messages d'erreur et de diagnostic ont été entièrement remanié. Plusieurs corrections ont été faites pour le protocole, les erreurs, et pour d'autres bugs. Toutes les résolveurs sont maintenant thread-safe. SPFD et spfquery ont été complètement réécrits.

This release is a ground-up rewrite of the library
to become more powerful and accurate, and to
simplify integration with client applications. A
new server/request/response API was added. All
allocation was simplified. Updates were made to
match the draft RFC specification. The error
messages and diagnostics were completely
overhauled. Numerous fixes were made for the
protocol, errors, and for other bugs. All
resolvers are now thread safe. spfd and spfquery
were completely rewritten.
