Plusieurs programmes ont un comportement par défaut neuf: LSHD permet la retransmission X11 par défaut (LSH n'apparaît toujours pas). lsh-keygen génère RSA plutôt que des clés DSA par défaut. lsh-writekey crypte la clé privée par défaut, en utilisant AES256-CBC (à moins que le drapeau - serveur est utilisé). Le script LCP a été amélioré, et il est maintenant installé par défaut. Le côté client des "keyboard-interactive" authentification utilisateur a été mis en œuvre. Échange de clés de Diffie-Hellman-group14-sha1 est supporté. Il ya des correctifs à l'UTF-8 du codeur, et en particulier les interactions entre UTF-8 et le caractère de contrôle de filtrage.

Several programs have new default behaviour: lshd enables X11 forwarding by default (lsh still does not). lsh-keygen generates RSA rather than DSA keys by default. lsh-writekey encrypts the private key by default, using aes256-cbc (unless the --server flag is used). The lcp script has been improved, and it is now installed by default. The client side of "keyboard-interactive" user authentication has been implemented. Key exchange with diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 is supported. There are fixes to the UTF-8 encoder, and in particular interactions between UTF-8 and control character filtering.
