Measuring Buffer is an enhanced version of buffer with many new features: It supports display of throughput, memory-mapped file I/O for huge buffers, IPv4/IPv6 network support, MD5 hash value calculation, and output to multiple targets in parallel (distribution mode).

Une option a été ajoutée pour mettre fin à tout type d'erreur. Un blocage lors du démarrage mbuffer en arrière-plan a été fixée. Les dimensions affichées ont été modifiées pour être conformes aux normes de SI.
An option was added to terminate on any kind of error. A hang when starting mbuffer in the background was fixed. The displayed dimensions were changed to be compliant to SI standards.
