MplayerXP is branch of the well-known mplayer that is based on a new, thread-based core. The main goal of this project is to achieve smoothness of video playback due monotonous CPU loading.

Le projet a été migré à partir de CVS à SVN. Les arguments de ligne de commande ont été renommés pour être objet plus pragmatiques. L'architecture interne de votre lecteur a été redessiné. Il ya un script de configuration nouvelle. Certains pilotes ont été modifiés, et de nouveaux ajouté. Quelques bugs et objets manquants ont été corrigés. Remplacement de tout le code assembleur en ligne avec la technologie intrinsèque appelé comme pvector a commencé.

in real-time without frame-dropping with the use of the non-accelerated '-vo x11' driver. The project has been migrated from CVS to SVN. Command-line arguments have been renamed to be more object-oriented. The internal architecture of the player has been redesigned.
There is a new configure script. Some drivers have been modified, and new ones added. Some bugs and missing items have been fixed. Replacement of all inline ASM code with intrinsic technology called as pvector has begun.
