Description du projet

PLATYPUX is a Linux distribution which uses methods from LFS and BLFS (Linux From Scratch). You can set up the system on a PC, a laptop, or a USB key. Its graphical interface is implemented with XFCE. It's easily transportable. Tools like LibreOffice, Gimp, Xsane, SRWare Iron, Inkscape, OpenShot, Xfburn, Peazip, and JavaMPlayer are already installed.

Compression XZM est utilisée pour AUFS. XFCE au lieu de Openbox. Beaucoup d'outils sont disponibles par défaut : LibreOffice, Openshot, Geany, GhostScript, Gutenprint, GIMP, Xsane, Java MPlayer, Epdfview, IcedTea, SRWARE de fer (avec des plugins Flash et IcedTea Web), Peazip, XFE, Inkscape, Pidgin, SpiceBird, Wicd et Xfburn. Support des pilotes propriétaires de NVIDIA (peut être activée grâce à nvidia-xconfig). Les applets beaucoup ont été installés (sound, clavier, batteries, etc.). Vous pouvez changer la langue de Platypux grâce à lxdm (dans le fond de la session de connexion).
