Description du projet

pv (Pipe Viewer) is a terminal-based tool for monitoring the progress of data through a pipeline. It can be inserted into any normal pipeline between two processes to give a visual indication of how quickly data is passing through, how long it has taken, how near to completion it is, and an estimate of how long it will be until completion.

Une nouvelle "- remote" option a été ajoutée pour changer les paramètres d'un PV déjà en cours. Un autre nouveau "- line-mode" option a été ajoutée pour obtenir PV pour compter les lignes au lieu d'octets. Utilisation des ressources de la «- limite-rate" (taux de limitation) option a été améliorée. Quelques nettoyages et Mac OS X correctifs ont été appliqués.

A new "--remote" option was added to change the
settings of a PV already in progress. Another new
"--line-mode" option was added to get PV to count
lines instead of bytes. Resource usage of the
"--limit-rate" (rate limiting) option was
improved. Some cleanups and Mac OS X fixes were
applied.
