Description du projet

Random Access Backup (RAB) is a simple backup system featuring backups to removable media, like DVD RAM, MO media, and CD. Files to be backed up are first written to a removable medium. When enough files have accumulated, RAB writes a checkpoint of the current backup state to CD. The primary part of RAB is a library which may be used to create customized backup applications for your special needs.

Cette version fournit une méthode plus souple pour gérer les échecs de cdrecord. L'utilisateur mai, soit juste essayer de nouveau, ou bien ils obtenir un shell escape pour gérer la gravure de CD manuellement. Lors d'un changement arborescences de répertoires à sauvegarder, il va tenter d'importer des anciennes données de sauvegarde pour ces arbres nouveau répertoire. Certains problèmes d'installation de rab sans utiliser RPM sont fixed now.

This release provides a more flexible method to handle failures of cdrecord. The user may either just try again, or they get a shell escape to handle CD burning manually. When changing directory trees to be backed up, it will try to import old backup data to these new directory trees. Some problems installing rab without using RPM are fixed now.
