SPYCE is a server-side language that supports simple and efficient Python-based dynamic HTML generation, otherwise called Python Server Pages. Those who like Python and are familiar with JSP, PHP, or ASP should have a look at Spyce. Its modular design makes it very flexible and extensible. It can also be used as a command-line utility for static text pre-processing or as a Web-server proxy.

La restructuration interne majeure du code se poursuit, dans certaines améliorations de performances visible pour l'utilisateur. Le SPYCE API a également été étendu, et la spyceModule simplifié en préparation pour sandboxing (spyceModulePlus est disponible). Fait important, les erreurs de syntaxe sont maintenant correctement déclarés (fixation d'un bug introduit dans 1.2.4), et basé sur des fichiers de cache SPYCE est maintenant supporté.

The major internal restructuring of the code continues, resulting in some performance improvements visible to the user.
