Tcpreplay is a set of Unix tools which allows the editing and replaying of captured network traffic in pcap (tcpdump) format. It can be used to test a variety of passive and inline network devices, including IPS's, UTM's, routers, firewalls, and NIDS.

Cette version est une réécriture majeure du tcprewrite et corrige de nombreux bugs liés à DLT / Layer 2 édition. Elle prend désormais en charge Ethernet, RAW, BSD NULL / LOOP, Cisco HDLC, Linux SLL, et l'utilisateur des types définis par DLT. Des améliorations supplémentaires améliorer le support multi-plateforme. Les correctifs ont été déployés pour tcpprep's inclure / exclure la logique.

This release is a major rewrite of tcprewrite and
fixes numerous bugs related to DLT/Layer 2
editing. It now supports Ethernet, RAW, BSD
NULL/LOOP, Cisco HDLC, Linux SLL, and user defined
DLT types. Additional enhancements improve
cross-platform support. Fixes were made to
tcpprep's include/exclude logic.
