TCVP is a modular and configurable audio and video player, transcoder, and streamer. Most popular file formats and codecs are supported. It
can be used from the command line or with a GUI. A flexible skin-based GUI is included, as well as a converter for XMMS/Winamp skins.

La tolérance d'erreur de la demuxer AVI a été améliorée. Le lecteur MP3 ajoute maintenant des informations de temps, des fichiers MP3 peut donc être multiplexés avec la vidéo ou d'autres pistes audio. Un bogue qui empêchait le joueur à se bloquer après la lecture d'un certain nombre de fichiers a été corrigé. La couche de sortie audio a été redessiné.

The error tolerance of the AVI demuxer has been
improved. The MP3 reader now adds timing
information, so MP3 files can be multiplexed with
video or other audio tracks. A bug that caused the
player to crash after playing a few files has been
fixed. The audio output layer has been redesigned.
