Tiny Core Linux is a very small (10 MB) minimal
Linux desktop. It is based on the Linux 3.0
kernel, Busybox, Tiny X, and Fltk. The core
runs entirely in RAM and boots very quickly. The
user has complete control over which applications
and/or additional hardware to have supported, be
it for a desktop, a nettop, an appliance, or
server, selectable from the online repository.

Le thème majeur de v4.4 Core est une mise à jour mineure de noyau. Nouveau dans cette version est également que beaucoup amélioré recherchant les extensions via un nouveau champ de TAG. Recherche de balise est prise en charge de la Appbrowser de GUI et ScmBrowser, ainsi que les outils de ligne de commande. 4.4 offre également la possibilité d'accéder aux extensions intégrées lors de l'amorçage d'un seul fichier d'image ISO. The major theme for Core v4.4 is a minor kernel update. Also new in this release is much improved searching for extensions via a new TAG field. Tag searching is supported in the GUIs Appbrowser and ScmBrowser, as well as the command line tools. 4.4 also features the ability to access embedded extensions when booting from a single ISO image file.
