Description du projet

Visopsys is an alternative operating system for PC compatible computers. Under development since late 1997, this system is small, fast, and open source. It features a simple but functional graphical interface, real preemptive multitasking, and virtual memory. Though it attempts to be compatible in a number of ways, Visopsys is not a clone of any other operating system. You can demo the distribution from a "live" CD, USB stick, or floppy disk.

Il s'agit d'une version de maintenance, avec un accent particulier sur le programme Gestionnaire de disque, le sous-système USB, et l'interface graphique. Le gestionnaire de disque (alias Partition Logic) peut maintenant copier et coller des partitions, d'annuler les opérations de déplacement de partition, l'utilisateur spécifié sous-types de format FAT, et a plus convivial de sélection type de partition.

subsystem, and the GUI. The Disk Manager (a.k.a.
Partition Logic) can now copy and paste
partitions, cancel partition move operations,
format user-specified FAT subtypes, and has more
user-friendly partition type selection.
