Description du projet

Xmpppy is a Python library grown from the jabberpy
project. Though this library has borrowed some
code from jabberpy, it is a separate project with
its own architecture and slightly different API.
It is primarily intended to be used with the
RFC-compliant jabber servers (like ejabberd), but
it should work with all popular servers (including
GTalk).

De nombreuses corrections de bogues majeurs étaient effectués. Plusieurs correctifs de compatibilité et solutions de contournement ont été ajoutées pour les serveurs cassé. Many major bugfixes were made. Several compatibility fixes and workarounds were added for broken servers. MUC attribute support in message stanzas was added. A non-blocking SendAndCallForResponse method was implemented for real-time clients. Server type auto-detection for components was added along with native handling of stream errors.
