The error means that MIDITrail failed to make a string bitmap for display.
The string is your MIDI data's title(top of the screen) or counters(bottom of the screen).
It may be a bug.
Please edit your MIDI data's title and change it to empty, and try to open it again.
Could you send me the MIDI file? I will investigate it.

i meet this error when i play any .mid file.i have solve it by downloading a version that won't display playing information.
but i didn't meet this error when i use winxp.it occurs after i use win8.is it related to this?

I used MIDITrail on Windows 8, but the error did not occur.
I think MIDITrail may have an unnecessary check.
So I have fixed the MIDITrail to skip the error message.
Please download following file and try it out.
