I've assumed (still do) it to be ubuntu bug, but now that their 23.04 release is approaching with issue still present, better to open a new ticket to track situation for our part (as we might need to do something for our upcoming releases) (Default) clang there is version 15. We've been using clang-15 a lot in many other environments, so this is not (only) about clang version. On Debian Sid/experimental mix I actually do regular build tests with clang-16 and clang-17 development version. The failure happens on configure phase already - it detects clang++ not to be a working compiler (I'm still to test if one could build just the C-parts of freeciv with clang) -- Ticket information of Freeciv project Freeciv Project is hosted on OSDN Project URL: https://osdn.net/projects/freeciv/ OSDN: https://osdn.net URL for this Ticket: https://osdn.net/projects/freeciv/ticket/47686 RSS feed for this Ticket: https://osdn.net/ticket/ticket_rss.php?group_id=12505&tid=47686
