There has not been consistency in where new effects have been added to README.effects. Sometimes they have been added in semi-alphabetic order, sometimes they have been added next to another one of similar functionality, sometimes next to another one affecting the same game concept. So now it's a mess, not in any consistent order. Just sort it alphabetically, as that's the only sorting method that's not ambiguous.
Also, FCW & TnT already seem to have sorted it that way, so this should reduce patch conflicts between the projects.
