Hi,

what do you think about a new feature called "reconnect" that could be used for IP or console connections using the credentials already entered (for current software session) or saved ?

This could be very interesting in conjunction with multi-tab connection and persistent window.

I like the idea and want to expand it. I often use UART-USB converters which are powered from the device. When I turn the device off I the converter stops working and the virtual COM port is gone. I need to close the terminal window and open it again after I turn the device on. It would be awesome if TeraTerm recognized the situation and automatically connected again when the COM port is back.
