TELNET 接続時、端末の幅または高さが 255 の時にサーバに端末サイズが伝わらない。

TELNET 接続時は TELNET WINDOW SIZE OPTION で伝える。

この時に送る 255(0xff) は IAC と同じで値である為、 0xff 0xff というように二つ続ける必要があるがこれを行っていない為。

from RFC 855 - TELNET OPTION SPECIFICATIONS:

Finally, if parameters in an option "subnegotiation" include a byte with a value of 255, it is necessary to double this byte in accordance the general TELNET rules.
