Creox is a real-time sound processor. You can plug
your electric guitar or any other musical
instrument directly to the PC's sound card and
start experimenting with various sound effects.
It has a nice user-friendly GUI, a preset support,
and a low-latency DSP engine, and each effect
parameter can be altered on the fly. As Creox is
a JACK application, the output sound can
be routed to the other JACK-aware applications,
and the audio input can be taken as the output
from the other JACK client.
Kissd is a really simple daemon designed to share
media files to all Ethernet enabled PC-Link KiSS
DVD players from a GNU/Linux based server. It has
been designed to be simple and robust. Neither
installation nor a configuration file is needed.
It will fork for each new connection to serve
several clients at the same time. All request
types are handled (video, audio, and picture).
EMI (The Ecasound Mastering Interface) is a Python front end to ecasound. It looks a lot like Rackmount effect and can be used to create an Ecasound Chain Setup while playing with parameters in real time. It supports mixing, recording, filtering, and processing and can export to ECS files. It supports all ecasound options, chain operators, and controllers.
namingmuse is a library and application that
accesses freedb.org and MusicBrainz (PUID), and
renames and tags music albums with information
from the site (such as year, genre, album name,
title, and artist). It supports disc ID generation
from the music file types supported by TagLib, as
well as full text search of the freedb.org Web
site using an HTML parser. It is encoding-aware,
and can tag Ogg Vorbis and FLAC with UTF-8 Xiph
Comments, MP3 with ID3v2 in Latin1 or UTF-8, and
MusePack with UTF-8 APE tags.

Mp3Cdbrowser is a tool to organize large collections of music (MP3, Ogg/Vorbis) on a CD or hard disk. It stores information about the track names, album, length, etc. in a database. You can later browse the tracks or search for them.

CDR-Toaster is a Tk frontend for writing CDs. It is a graphical front-end for the excelent programs 'mkisofs', 'cdrecord' and 'cdparanoia'. It may be used to burn audio, data, bootable, and combo CDs. It can also rip audio and data tracks. CDR-Toaster can even burn mp3s as audio CDs.
