AA-lib is a low level gfx library just as many other libraries are. The main difference is that AA-lib does not require graphics device. In fact, there is no graphical output possible. AA-lib replaces those old-fashioned output methods with a powerful ASCII art renderer. The API is designed to be similar to other graphics libraries.

skstream is a network transport library written in C++ using the iostream interface. It provides classes for handling TCP socket connections. It is derived from the FreeSockets library by Rafael Guterres Jeffman. Its primary use to the WorldForge project, who maintain this version, is as a transport for Atlas-C++, the standard Atlas protocol implementation.

Q is a powerful and extensible functional programming language based on the term rewriting calculus. When programming with Q, you specify a system of equations which the interpreter uses as rewrite rules to reduce expressions to normal form. Q is useful for scientific programming and other advanced applications, and also as a sophisticated kind of desktop calculator. HandBrake is a multi-threaded DVD to MPEG-4 ripper and converter. It can encode directly from DVDs (even encrypted ones) or from VIDEO_TS folders. AC3, LPCM, and MPEG audio tracks are supported. The output can be contained in MP4, AVI, or OGM files, and the output audio is encoded in either AAC, MP3, or Vorbis. Other features include support for 2-pass encoding, encoding of two audio tracks, a bitrate calculator, and deinterlacing, cropping, and scaling of the original picture.

Sformat is the first SCSI disk formatting utility for SunOS/Solaris. It should
