md5chk is a tool for creating MD5 sums. It was
designed so that its output would be easy to use
with command line shells. It guarantees that the
MD5 sum is always "clean" of characters that would
be misinterpreted by the shell and that special
characters in the file names are always properly
escaped.

PySh is a mix between bash and Python. It allows you to execute both kinds of commands mixed together.

HylaArchive is a real time or cron-based archiving script for HylaFAX. The real time part integrates into the fax receiving function and archives the incoming fax as a PDF file in a date structured directory. The cron-based part does the same but as a cron job rather than in real time.

Zabbix-updater is a tool for automatically updating ZABBIX agents. It is ideal for sites with many computers.

Stash is a simple multi-platform browser-based and command line knowledge base. It demonstrates TCP/IP internetworking with gawk (Linux version) and HyperText Application integration (Windows version).

bak2disc is a disc-based backup script aimed at
being easy to use and powerful. Its most notable
feature is the way it groups common files and
directories together to preserve structure when
data is divided into discs. This functionality is a tunable threshold that lets you control the balance between data contiguity and maximum disc usage. In addition, bak2disc also features resume support, which allows you to stop burning between discs and continue later. Burning is done on-the-fly, using growisofs for DVDs and cdrecord for CDs.

WebSH is a script that executes commands on a
remote machine through Web requests. This script
currently only works for Unix based servers and
Unix based clients. It emphasizes the fact that a
vulnerability that allows a file to be edited or
uploaded is just as bad as a buffer overflow of
PHP or an Apache thread.

Exchanges is a Bash CGI script for collaborative creation of manuscripts. It allows new entries to be injected between existing entries. Owners of entries may edit or delete them. Anyone may comment on them. By default, one views the entire document. Exchanges are directory-based, with a single CGI handling multiple writing projects.

The ArchLinux Development Stack provides a whole stack of applications needed to support development projects during their life cycle on ArchLinux servers. The packages include Nexus, Sonar, Hudson, and Redmine.

vpn-shaper is a dynamic traffic shaper for
openvpn, poptop, and similar programs, using
iproute2. It allows shaping of traffic between
many users conected to one server, and it supports
different prioritiy schemes for different users
and different types of traffic. Trafic shaping
uses the HTB qdisc. Prioritization uses l7-filter
and ipp2p and some of the patch-o-matic
extensions. Classification of trafic in HTB
classes is done by using the IPMARC patch-o-matic
extension. vpn-shaper requires the IPMARK
patch-o-matic extension, connmark iptables match,
and HTB qdisc.

vxref provides integration of the xref tool into vim.
The xref tool is a cross referencing and refactoring tool with a free version available that parses C and Java code, and a paid version that parses C++. vxref brings solid auto-completion (as opposed to all sorts of flakey varieties such as omni-complete) and accurate code browsing with scope information to vim.

DVDripTools is a collection of scripts that
operate DVD ripping tools. It consists of ripdvd,
which creates an MKV, OGM, or MP4 file container
very easily; ripdvdcrop, which detects the
cropping to use when ripping a DVD; and
ripdvdtest, which performs a ripping test of a few
seconds.

Living Css Tools is a build utility to allow given Web functionality specified at w3.org and whatwg.org to work in those Web browsers (user agents) that only support the functionality with a proprietary namespace.

'blaze' is a Netfilter iptables firewall script that is meant to be ridiculously easy to use, pretty basic, but powerful enough to handle a box with multiple NICs to support gateway usage, possibly with NAT. Setup should take no more than five minutes. Logging is not currently supported.

Kvblade is a kernel module implementing the target
side of the AoE protocol. Users can command the
module through sysfs to export block devices on
specified network interfaces. The loopback device
should be used as an intermediary for exporting
regular files with kvblade.
