Scam-backscatter is a milter that prevents
backscatter on mail servers which don't host
mailboxes locally. It validates mailboxes by
verifying the recipient addresses hosted on a
different mail server.

Njam is a full-featured cross-platform Pacman-like
game that uses the SDL library. It features single and
multiplayer modes (local or network), duel games
where players compete against each other to get
more points, cooperative games where players
cooperate to finish as many levels as they can, and

Suhosin comes in two independent parts that can be used separately or in combination. The second part is a powerful PHP extension that implements all the other protections. Suhosin is binary compatible with plain PHP installations.

prwd is a tool to print your working directory in a reduced form for your shell prompt. The path can be shortened using aliases, a maximum length, a filler character or in the style of a newsgroup. prwd can also read your branch in git and mercurial repositories.

ECe is another clone of the ncurses-based editor that comes with the Midnight Commander (cooledit). Its main feature is simplicity. While preserving all the original cooledit features (like syntax highlighting or gpm mouse support), ECe offers a few useful enhancements: the ability to work with many files, reconfigurable keys and menus, tab-completion in file dialogs, friendlier default color scheme, and more.

framework for handling spectra and peak lists. The
framework can read and write to a number of
different spectra and peak list formats, and it
provides a simple, intuitive Java object model for
working with spectra or peak lists. All classes
support two methods of handling peak list and
spectrum data: in-memory or stream. The goal of
this framework is to support all the popular MS
and MSMS data formats, and to eliminate any time
or effort involved in figuring out how to read and
write peak list or spectrum files.

asqredir is a small, fast, and simple redirect plugin for the
squid webcache, written in C. It can be used for filtering out
advertisements from Web sites or preventing proxy users from
getting certain files by redirecting them to another URL. The
to-be-matched URL patterns are kept in a file and are read into
memory on startup. Because asqredir is based on URL pattern
matching, it can be used for many different kinds of blocking.

fupids (the fuzzy userprofile intrusion detection
system) is a user-profile based IDS for the
OpenBSD kernel. It modifies certain syscalls in
order to detect suspicious behavior. For example,
it watches for network devices being set to
promiscuous mode, and it watches for the creation
of listen() sockets by users. fupids also handles
a program profile for your local users, and it can
find attackers who overtake existing accounts.
